Afrique Drummers
Afrique Drummers was established in 2014 by a team of dancers and acrobats originally from Kenya. Its founder, a graduate of Sarakasi Circus school in Kenya. As a choreographer the band fuses Live music with dance, circus and African djembe drums bringing the full authentic & thrilling African show.
For The African circus performance, we use African music, African costumes and we incorporate all our cultural dances into the show to make it different to the audience in the circus or theatre. It’s a cultural show with acrobatics, dance, live music , stunts and more tricks.
Still a dancer and acrobatic performer, the band are an internationally-renowned travelling show and becoming known as ‘the father of African circus and dance.
